therez been so much happening....with my dissertation, did i tell u bout the new direction into knowledge retention? Well, that's what it is, with the HPA as my organization, before i get too excited, i saw a book i have to buy:(J. Liebowitz, Knowledge Retention: Strategies and Solutions, Auerbach, 2009). Today, i spoke with an EIS librarian, Vanessa Hill who pointed out certain things about whom to see concerning certain matters. Presently, John and I are working together, not as a group but independently towards the same course.

I have a new direction on the topic for my dissertation, which is organizational knowledge retention:towards achieving competitive advantage. Two weeks ago, my supervisor sent me feedback about getting an organization which could be used to direct my research, i am still undecided about using management consulting firms here or in Nigeria. i was very much surprised to see aboubakr today as i was on my way to the library, he reiterated about getting an organization either here or in nigeria which i have previously worked with so that i would be collect data from them. Only after i have done this, would we be able to know if he would supervise me, or i would have someone else as my supervisor. I was taken aback by this, but i would let God direct my steps in this dissertation. He knows the end from the beginning.
